MELBOURNE HISTORICAL RESEARCH GROUP

RECORDS AND BOOKS HELD IN MELBOURNE LIBRARY IN 2007

An alphabetical list by author of (mainly local) history books, available from Melbourne Library and Information Centre, has been compiled by Roy Dunnicliffe in April 2007 for Melbourne Historical Research Group. It is available HERE in Adobe PDF format and you need the Adobe Reader software to view these files. If you do not currently have this installed it can be downloaded now, free of charge, from this link to the Adobe internet site.

The Group's work and resources listed below are held in Melbourne Library and are available for the public to view during library opening hours when not in use by members of the group for exhibitions or other projects. The material, most of which is in ring bound folders, is kept in a locked cabinet and the key is available from the librarian. If the items you require are not at the library, please email the Chairman.

The Library and Information Centre is based at Melbourne Assembly Rooms (previously known as the Bill Shone Leisure Centre), High Street, Melbourne, Derbyshire, DE73 8GJ, UK. Telephone 01332 863893. Opening hours: Monday 2-7pm; Wednesday 2-5.30pm; Friday 10am-1pm and 2-7pm.
